Refund Policy for TaskTrove

We encourage you to use the 14-day trial period to evaluate our software before making a decision to purchase, it is very simple to upgrade from trial to paid license.
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy explains how we handle refund requests for both self-hosted Pro licenses and hosted subscriptions (planned).
1. Eligibility
We offer refunds under the following conditions:
For Self-Hosted Pro Licenses:
- You must request a refund within 14 days of your original purchase date.
- The request must be made by the original purchaser and include the email and license key used during checkout.
- Refunds apply only to first-time purchases of TaskTrove Pro licenses. Renewals, upgrades, and add-ons are not refundable.
For Hosted Subscriptions (Planned):
- When available, refunds for hosted subscriptions will be limited to the first billing cycle.
- Users must contact us within 14 days of initial signup to request cancellation and refund.
- Subsequent renewals are non-refundable, but users may cancel future charges anytime.
2. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund, contact our support team at support AT tasktrove.io with the following:
- Subject line: Refund Request
- Email address used at purchase
- Order ID or license key (if applicable)
- Brief reason for your request (optional, but helps us understand your situation)
We aim to respond to refund requests within 5 business days.
3. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method via our payment provider (Paddle).
- It may take up to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer.
4. Non-Refundable Cases
We reserve the right to decline refund requests that:
- Are submitted after 14 days from the purchase date or initial subscription
- Involve abuse of our licensing or redistribution policies
- Are part of a bulk or discounted enterprise purchase
- Include license keys that have already been used to activate multiple deployments in violation of our terms
- Relate to renewals of hosted subscriptions
5. Exceptions
If you experience technical issues with TaskTrove and have worked with our support team without resolution, we may offer a discretionary refund outside the standard window.
